Narissa Hart
A disco diva with a funky flair, Narissa is a mix between a pit bull and a cruise director. She’s made it her personal duty to ensure that Elle doesn’t take herself too seriously, even if that means forcing her to have fun every once in a while. Narissa never takes ‘No’ for an answer and is famous for bringing style – and hairdos – to new heights.

Detective Jonathan Eberly
A homicide detective with a jealous, suspicious nature and a short fuse, he’s Elle’s on-again, off-again boyfriend and the only man with a fighting chance of taming her. There’s a soft side lurking behind his badge and steely gray eyes that he only Elle seems to see. Although their arguments are frequent and explosive, he loves her enough to let her live life by her own rules.

Tyrone Frances Jackson
There’s more to this sometimes abrasive mercenary than muscles and sex appeal. Tall, dark, and irresistibly handsome, he’s Elle’s right hand man and occasional plaything. He can chop a demon in half without breaking a sweat, but he can’t manage to get his arms around Elle long enough to convince her that she’s missing out on a very, very good thing.

Dwayne Jackson
Tyrone’s identical twin, Dwayne is the other half of the team collectively known as the Jersey brothers. He’s got a twisted sense of humor and a generous smile, but he’s deadly with anything from a penknife to a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. He loves Elle like the little sister he never had, but knows she’s the only person on the planet capable of coming between him and his brother. He’s convinced that Elle is going to break Tyrone’s heart, but any time she needs help, he’s the first to volunteer.
